More Reasons To Do Strength Training
By
Every week, I have the chance to meet and interview a number of perspective new clients who are looking to join our Genesis Personal Fitness “community”. It’s interesting what these people tell me as to “their why” they want to become a client at Genesis.
I would say that a vast majority I interview want to come to Genesis because they have weight to lose and have heard that Genesis is the place to get it done. They’re not exactly sure how it all works at Genesis - they just know that we have a “magic formula” for getting people to lose their excess fat in a relatively short period of time (in comparison to how long it took for them to gain it, that is).
But during the Consultation with me, I see that many of these people have several “ah-ha moments”, particularly when I explain how strength training can have so many other positive implications to not only how they look, but also how they feel and how long they last (live).
The good news is that many “get it” and if they fit into our private Genesis community in both potential and attitude, they become a welcomed addition to our exclusive Genesis family.
So, what about you? Yes, yes… I know you know how much our Genesis exercise and eating programs can help you get the slimmer, leaner body you want. BUT, what about the other “stuff”?
What about how our strength training approach can help you improve your heart? What about how it helps you improve and ward off diabetes? And then there’s the new research that points to how strength training can actually prevent you from getting cancer.
Well, just to expand the view of your “playing field” when it comes to the exercise you do when you come to Genesis, I’ve written a short article on all of this and placed it on our website for you to read. When you have a minute, click the link that follows and read it. If you have any comments about it, feel free to leave them here.
